The CORN Network is a network comprised of multiple organisations. This website is managed by SICCDA (South Inner City Community Development Association). This privacy policy will explain how our organization uses the personal data we collect from you when you use our website.

What data do we collect?
The CORN Network collects the following data:
Personal identification information (Name, email address, phone number, etc.)
Information provided in the Join the Community Form
How do we collect your data?
You directly provide The CORN Network with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:
Register online for any of our services. This includes filling out the form to join our community
Use or view our website via your browser’s cookies.
How will we use your data?
The CORN Network collects your data so that we can:
Update our member list as your organisation joins our network, specifically
Organisation name
Address/Location
A short summary about your organisation
A link to your organisation’s website
Send out a monthly newsletter
The email address provided
Individual contact if necessary
The email address provided
The phone number provided if preferred
As part of the circulation of our newsletter, other members of our network will be able to see the email address provided.
How do we store your data?
The CORN Network securely stores your data at a local server on our office premise. We are transitioning to a secure Cloud environment, supported by our IT partner, SupportIT.
The CORN Network will keep your personal data and the data about your organisation for 5 years after leaving The CORN Network. Once this time period has expired, we will delete your data by deleting the information provided from our server. We will destroy any physical copy of the date provided if they exist.
Marketing
The CORN Network will send out a newsletter once a month. Your email address will be used for this. Members of our network will be able to see your email address. A full list of our members is provided on page 5 & 6.
What are your data protection rights?
The CORN Network would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:
The right to access – You have the right to request the CORN Network for copies of your personal data.
The right to rectification – You have the right to request that the CORN Network correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request the CORN Network to complete the information you believe is incomplete.
The right to erasure – You have the right to request that the CORN Network erase your personal data, under certain conditions.
The right to restrict processing – You have the right to request that the CORN Network restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
The right to object to processing – You have the right to object to the CORN Network’s processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
The right to data portability – You have the right to request that the CORN Network transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.
